In honor of\u00a0National Family History Month, we’re offering a\u00a0FREE Beginning Genealogy Class<\/strong> this Saturday October 10th<\/strong> from 9:30-10:30am<\/strong> at the Main Street Library. Learn how to get started researching your family history using the materials (and staff!) at the library.<\/p>\n

After you’ve learned the basics, join us\u00a0for\u00a0Genealogy Night<\/strong> on Sunday, October 25th<\/strong> from 3:00-8:00pm<\/strong> at the Main Street Library. Come\u00a0to the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center to use our resources, ask questions of staff and volunteers from the Scott County Iowa Genealogical Society, talk to other researchers, and eat some yummy food.
