married Alexander Shadbolt, the owner of a stock farm outside of Brooklyn, Iowa, in Poweshiek County.<\/p>\n<p>Aren\u2019t they a lovely couple?<\/p>\n<p><a \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Held at the home of the bride\u2019s parents on 719 East Fourteenth Street, the wedding was a small affair, but, the <i>Davenport Daily Leader<\/i> reported, a very pretty one.\u00a0 \u00a0There was a small dinner afterward for family and a few close friends.<\/p>\n<p>But a small, intimate wedding didn\u2019t mean the bride didn\u2019t wear a beautiful dress.\u00a0 Look at those photograph taken with her glasses on, as befits a former schoolteacher.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re barely visible in the image, but they\u2019re there!<\/p>\n<p><a
