Please note: Copies of records are $3.00 each, which includes the cost of copying and mailing the record, up to five photocopied pages. Extra copies are $.20 each. You may request up to five records at a time. Funds generated in this manner will be used by the Scott County Iowa Genealogical Society and the Davenport Public Library to purchase additional materials for the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center. Lengthy records, such as divorce or probate files may require payment of a $15.00 research fee.
Patrons requesting in-depth research services, including requests for specific records for which no date information is available, will be charged a minimum research fee of $15.00. This fee includes 60 minutes of research time and copying and mailing up to 5 pages. Any additional copies will be billed at $.20 each.
Prepayment is not required; we will send a billing statement with the information you have requested.
We attempt to answer all questions within ten (10) working days, but some questions may take longer if they require more extensive research.
