We have bittersweet news to share about our blog. Due to the upcoming Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA requirements for state and local governments to ensure digital accessibility, we have been developing a new blog that will make our content “Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR).”
Our Primary Selections from Special Collections blog started in 2008, so after 28 years and 968 posts, our current blog will become a vast archive of Davenport and Quad Cities history. It will still be searchable and accessible to history or curious seekers!
We hope you continue reading our new installments in our new blog! The look may change a little, but the content will still cover local histories and mysteries. We still have so much to write about!
