This may be an unusual format to some, but novels in verse convey the emotion and heart of a story in a way that sticks with me for longer. The poetic structures they employ tell captivating and important stories while favoring poetry over prose.<\/p>\n<p>Below you will find a list of new young adult verse novels that have just hit the shelves! As of this writing, all of these titles are owned by the Davenport Public Library.
