She ends up outside an English manor house where, it happens, they need a\u00a0 housekeeper.<\/p>\n<p>Samantha, hilariously, pretends to be an expert cook, laundress and\u00a0housecleaner when she is really completely clueless, or, as the title says &#8220;undomestic.&#8221; Her attempts to bluff her way through the most basic of tasks are described\u00a0with typical English deadpan absurdity.\u00a0\u00a0The unusual couple that she works for and the gardener who turns out to be her accomplice round out an appealing cast of characters.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/search.prairiecat.info\/?itemid=|library\/marc\/PALS-unicorn|980899\" target=\"_blank\">Undomestic Goddess<\/a><\/em><\/strong> has it all &#8211; humor, romance, plot, and a satisfying resolution.\u00a0Put your feet up\u00a0and take a break from all that housework.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This\u00a0 \u00a0Sophie Kinsella novel is much better than the Shopoholic series, IMHO.
