Recently, I combined that love with a taste of nostalgia by reading an informative and often funny book by one of my childhood icons, Bill Nye (The Science Guy). Bill Nye became iconic in the 90s with his TV show about science for kids, and he remains a beloved source of science and inspiration to many today. To catch some of his general enthusiasm, check out <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rivershare.polarislibrary.com\/search\/title.aspx?ctx=14.1033.0.0.7&amp;pos=1&amp;cn=1223054\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Everything All At Once<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, an energizing look at how to identify your passions, strengthen your critical thinking, and solve &#8216;unsolvable&#8217; problems. Embrace your inner nerd! If one of your passions turns out to be scientific causes, try one of his other two books: <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rivershare.polarislibrary.com\/search\/title.aspx?ctx=14.1033.0.0.7&amp;pos=2&amp;cn=1097857\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Undeniable<\/a><\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rivershare.polarislibrary.com\/search\/title.aspx?ctx=14.1033.0.0.7&amp;pos=4&amp;cn=1200964\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Unstoppable<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, about evolution and climate change, respectively. In these books, it&#8217;s obvious how much Bill Nye cares about kids and wants them to love science, create a better world, and have a fantastic time. And, he gets his message across with humor, which I always appreciate.<\/p>\n<p>If those aren&#8217;t for you, you may appreciate his sense of wonder; he wrote the preface for both <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rivershare.polarislibrary.com\/search\/title.aspx?ctx=14.1033.0.0.7&amp;pos=6&amp;cn=1159957\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Earth + Space<\/a><\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rivershare.polarislibrary.com\/search\/title.aspx?ctx=14.1033.0.0.7&amp;pos=5&amp;cn=1240080\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Planets<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, collections of breathtaking photographs from NASA&#8217;s archives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Kids (or Kids-At-Heart)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"jetpack-slideshow-noscript
