This year there have been a lot of fantastic books adapted to the big screen: Twelve Years a Slave<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, Catching Fire<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>(The Hunger Games<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0trilogy), The Great Gatsby<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, Warm Bodies<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, Admission<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, World War Z<\/strong><\/em><\/a> and The Book Thief<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>\u00a0— just to name a few! \u00a0Right before an adapted movie comes out, many scramble to read the book first.\u00a0In that rush it becomes difficult to find a copy that isn’t checked out. \u00a0To prepare for the new year and start planning your reading, here are some of the books that you may want to read before you watch (who doesn’t want to get to yell, “The book was better!” in a crowded theater?)<\/p>\n
