the first being <em><strong>Split Second &#8212;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>there&#8217;s lots of dialogue and fast-paced action.\u00a0 The investigators seem to be constantly on the move, seldom sleeping or eating, yet still able to ward off professionally hired assailants with maximum efficiency.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Patterson&#8217;s <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/search.prairiecat.info\/?itemid=|library\/marc\/PALS-unicorn|2313022 \" target=\"_blank\">10th Anniversary <\/a><\/strong><\/em>is his tenth novel in the Women&#8217;s Murder Club series, which began with <em><strong>1st to Die<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 If you haven&#8217;t\u00a0read any of them,\u00a0 perhaps you caught some of the made-for-TV-movies\u00a0featuring Angie Harmon in the lead role of Lindsay\u00a0Boxer, a tough San Francisco detective who works alongside other professional women (an attorney, a coroner and a journalist) to solve high-profile murder cases.\u00a0 The books are quick, easy reads with short chapters.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All of the\u00a0above\u00a0make great choices for summer reading, so come check out some\u00a0 &#8212;
