This summer there are some major movies coming to theaters that were originally books!\u00a0 Here are a few of them:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Something Borrowed<\/a><\/strong><\/em> by Emily Giffin – This one is already in theaters!\u00a0 It is about a girl who falls in love with her best friend’s husband-to-be after a one night stand, and the movie stars Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin, and John Krasinski. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows<\/a><\/strong><\/em> by J. K. Rowling – The final part of this saga is finally coming to an end with the epic battle between good and evil.\u00a0 Before the midnight showing of the movie, I might have to flip through a copy of the book again.\u00a0 After all, I have to get\u00a0my costume just right!<\/p>\n

\"\"Sarah’s Key<\/a><\/strong><\/em> by Tatiana de Rosnay – This book club favorite tells the story of a journalist writing about a girl caught up in one of the raids of World War II.\u00a0 The movie will star Kristin Scott Thomas. Ann blogged about this book here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Help<\/a><\/strong><\/em> by Kathryn Stockett – Set in Jackson, Mississippi during the civil rights movement, this bestseller is\u00a0about a\u00a0girl fresh out of college who\u00a0has taken on a writing project\u00a0about the experiences of African-American maids.\u00a0\u00a0The film version\u00a0boasts an all-star cast, including Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Sissy Spacek, and Allison Janney.
