Looking for a different way to honor Dad this coming Father’s Day?\u00a0 How about checking out a movie featuring a fabulous father?\u00a0 There’s a lot to choose from — it all depends upon your interests, or perhaps, more importantly, upon the ages of your kids.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/a> <\/a>\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

For the younger crowd, The Incredibles<\/strong><\/em><\/a> is a fun choice, and all<\/em> the people in that family are pretty amazing!<\/p>\n

One of my favorites is Mrs. Doubtfire<\/em><\/strong><\/a> with Robin Williams.\u00a0 This is a good choice for slightly older kids;\u00a0 it’s hilarious, but also quite touching.<\/p>\n

If your kids are older — maybe even adults — you may want to\u00a0check out Father of the Bride. <\/strong><\/em> You can chose the\u00a0popular newer version with Steve Martin<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0but it might be refreshing to\u00a0go way back and view the original movie starring Spencer Tracy<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0See how things have changed, or possibly, how much has\u00a0stayed the same!<\/p>\n

For those of you who’d rather have a real book connection, why not look into To Kill a Mockingbird<\/a>.<\/strong><\/em> Atticus Finch has to be one of the most understanding fathers in the world.<\/p>\n

And if you prefer TV shows, you might like watching some true oldies, like My Three Sons<\/a> <\/strong><\/em>or\u00a0Father Knows Best.<\/a> <\/strong><\/em> Have a Happy Father’s Day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
