If you are a big fan of\u00a0 scary movies, you should\u00a0definitely\u00a0check out\u00a0\u00a0Paranormal Activity<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0 I\u00a0saw the commercials, which\u00a0were especially creepy and scary, and when\u00a0a copy was available at the library I hesitated at first, but then decided to watch it.\u00a0\u00a0I am glad that I didn’t watch it alone!\u00a0<\/p>\n

A young couple, Katie and Micah, move into a new home near San Diego and are wary of strange sounds and activity in the middle of the night.\u00a0\u00a0Trying to \u00a0figure out what is exactly happening when they are asleep, Micah sets up a video camera to capture what goes bump in the night.\u00a0 Much of what the viewer sees is through the eyes of the camera.\u00a0 The events start out small – unexplained footsteps and doors closing themselves.\u00a0 But, as time goes on more ominus things start to happen to the couple.\u00a0 By the end of the movie the paranormal\u00a0happenings escalate so much, you have no idea what is next and the ending is definitely shocking.\u00a0 The DVD contains an alternative ending which is worth watching too.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

I am normally not a fan of\u00a0horror films, but Paranormal Activity<\/em><\/strong> was a fun watch and scary movie.\u00a0 I checked out Paranormal Activity 2<\/a><\/em><\/strong> which is a prequel to this movie that was just released and I will blog about it soon!<\/p>\n
