Has anyone else realized how awesome YA Authors are?! And more specifically, how easy it is to discover how awesome YA Authors are because they are totally accessible?! I call this YAuthor Stalking, and here is how you do it: pick an author, read their books, go to their website to check for free ARC (advanced reader copy) contests, send them an email explaining why you loved their books and how much you deserve a free ARC, read their blog because their blog posts are like mini awesome books, become their friend on facebook so you can comment on their status updates, watch their youtube videos and post them on your facebook so your friends can see how awesome you are for liking an awesome author, and last, follow the author on twitter and repeatedly tweet at them “I’M READING YOUR BOOK RIGHT NOW!” So easy, right?!
So where can you find all that YAuthor information? RIGHT HERE because it’s YAuthor Stalking Tuesday! Learn about your favorite authors, have a chat with them and then share your YAuthor adventures. First up is the brilliantly fabulous Meg Cabot!

Amber’s Meg Cabot Adventure:
Last February, I jumped in the car with a bunch of nerdy girls and drove to Naperville,IL to meet Meg Cabot at the Children’s Literature Breakfast put on by Anderson’s Bookshop. I had emailed her a couple days before telling her to keep an eye out for us, so when we bombarded her at her table to give her a Meg Cabot doll we had fashioned out of a Barbie the night before, she was not weirded out at all She even mentioned meeting us in her blog that evening which resulted in much screaming and dancing around the apartment.
Have you met Meg Cabot? Do you have a YAuthor Adventure to share? Email Amber at firstname.lastname@example.org and we might post it on a YAuthor Stalking Tuesday!
