Geeky Dreamboats by Lacey Soslow is kinda my new favorite book. For sure. You might be quick to think that’s the case because it’s full of a whole swarm of geeky dreamboats, pics of featured geeky dreamboats, even random tidbits about said geeky dreamboats. Ah, geeky dreamboats! But REALLY why I like the book is because of the reaction it garners from nearly every person I give it to.
It seems that everyone–men and women, young and old feel the need to start flipping through the book only to immediately offer their opinions of who, exactly, should and should not be in the cute little book titled Geeky Dreamboats and why. It’s great fun! By the way, it really is a cute little book measuring in at a mere 6 1/4 by 5 1/4 inches.
Personally, I was surprised to see the Jonas Brothers in there, but whatevs. They might be dreamboaty in your world, but I’d hardly consider them geeky. Another shocker was Kanye West. For reals? Maybe I’m wrong about that one, but Michael Cera, Paul Rudd, and John Krasinski (Jim from the Office) sound more on target to me. There’s even a few geeky dreamboats included for the more “mature” readers like John Stewart, Ira Glass, Conan O’Brien, and the ever popular 80s star John Cusack. It seems most of the teens I’ve given the book to swoon over Daniel Radcliffe.
So if you’re bored and want something to pass around to your friends to get them talking check out the new book Geeky Dreamboats and see what happens. We’d love to hear who you think is the absolute most geekiest, most awesomest, most dreamboaty star out there. You know you have a favorite…
