Erm…there were more people involved in the Never Wonder Where movie…I just wanted to make that known: Sarah Rodriguez, Kimberlyn Stoddard, Alexis Bertrard, Tabitha Jones and Patrick Kakert II were also in it and helped produce it.

Thanks for your comments. We are doing it again this year! Stay tuned to the blog for more upcoming details. It will be a bit different than years past but here is the info we have so far: YouTube Contest presented by Libraries Together – Entries due Saturday, February 25th by 5:30 p.m.
Have you ever wanted to make movies? Well now is your chance. We will be having a YouTube contest for area teens. This year we have decided to let you or your team choose your own theme. Below is a list of suggestions, but feel free to make the movie you want to make!
* Live action video games, such as a reenactment of an epic Minecraft session.
* Infomercials for your favorite book, library program, or fictional product.
* A flashmob.
* Incorporate Skype or twitter interview with your favorite author.
* Reinterpret classic literature with a healthy dose of teen angst.
Videos need to be shorter than 5 minutes, and be posted to YouTube. You can then email your entry’s URL and your contact information to your home library’s teen librarian or cvogt@davenportlibrary.com.
The YouTube Contest Viewing Premiere will take place on a date and location TBD in March.
