I love Laurie Halse Anderson! I met her last summer at the American Library Association annual conference, and she couldn't be nicer. She was very patient while I tried to get my malfunctioning camera to work, and she took the time to sign my book and chat with me! I highly recommend her books. I agree that those two covers have TOTALLY differnt vibes. The original American cover seems most fitting to me (not to mention that it's prettier!).
