30 days to write 50,000 words? Well, my dear, that sounds like a CHALLENGE!

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month and thousands of people across the world are currently frantically typing, downing coffee, creating book cover designs, and tweeting their word counts (My best friend just reached 8,000 last night; author John Green tweeted that he was at 3,095 words before he had to take a break to work on his screenplay). Do you win anything if you finish? nope. But you do have evidence of an awesome creative explosion! Ever heard of the book Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen? It began as a NaNoWriMo project :-) So sign up at http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/register and get crazy. I’m thinking of writing a short novella on a girl who just can’t find the right shampoo for what her hair needs….gotta write what you know.
