I've been watching SNL since I was 12. Back then they played it like 6 times a day on Comedy Central. They would play the 70s era at noon, then go from the Eddie Murphy years through the Anthony Michael Hall/Robert Downey jr. "year" in the afternoons, then finish up with the Dana Carvey/Phil Hartman years in the evenings. This was in between episodes of Soap and the Kids in the Hall. I miss the old Comedy Central! :(

Thanks to TiVo, I can skip to "weekend update" and the Digital shorts, without having to suffer through all the painful parts in between. My husband had that "Space Olympics" song stuck in his head yesterday!

If you're a teen with a sense of humor, you should totally watch all those old episodes! It's kinda sad that they are not on TV all the time anymore, but at least they are coming out on DVD now!
