Based on the book Julie and Julia by Julie Powell, it follows the cooking adventures of a young woman who, in an attempt to bring some focus to her life, decides to make every recipe in Julia Child’s iconic Mastering the Art of French Cooking – in one year and all in her tiny kitchen.

  2. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I have heard rave reviews from friends. As a foodie and huge Julia Child fan, I am obviously looking forward to all the food scenes! By the way, the book is great too.
