Clinton Foundation.  We would also like to thank all of the athletes and their fans for coming out to support the &#8220;Go Healthy Challenge&#8221; and their Davenport Public Library&#8217;s inaugural &#8220;Kid Gladiators&#8221; event!</p>

As two young men wait for the city bus, they strike up a memorable conversation with a haunting conclusion.</span></p>

The Library is bringing this event to the community as part of the “Go Healthy Challenge,” a partnership with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, the American Heart Association, and the William J. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Calibri;">The Davenport Public Library will be out in the community this weekend providing fun &amp; free activities for families.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>On Saturday, September 13 from 12-5 stop out at Vander Veer Park for the <a href="http://www.cityofdavenportiowa.com/egov/apps/events/calendar.egov?path=03&amp;action=details&amp;id=1659">Fall Festival</a>.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>The library is one of many groups that will have an area at the park for this fun family event.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Then stop out at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds on Sunday, September 14 from 12-5 for Reading Adventures.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>At Reading Adventures, every child 12 &amp; under will receive a free book.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>There will also be story times, inflatable rides, hayrack rides, a petting zoo, the DePriest Puppets, and much more.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>And the best part is it’s all free.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>So stop on out and say “HI” this weekend to the Davenport Public Library employees!</span></p>
