Tomorrow night: Groundbreaking Films

June 9, 2013 1:00 am2 comments

This film program explores movies that broke through conventions with innovative technology, radical viewpoints, or by questioning perceptions. Each evening, learn how these films changed the world of cinema and contributed to a different way of looking at the world. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

See if you can guess tomorrow’s movie, which bears the tagline, “Love has a language all of its own.”

When: Mondays at 6:00pm
Ages: Varies (June 10′s movie is rated R)
Cost: Free!

  • Library Friend

It would be nice if you were less coy with the film titles. They’re not available on the events section of the webpage either. I tried looking at both this and the Friday film from my phone and was irritated to be subjected to a quiz. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

  • Thank you for your inquiry into our films. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to advertise the names of our films online or outside of the library due to our movie rights’ contract. We are allowed to list them inside the library and have them available on a poster, or you are welcome to call the library to find out the movie title. I apologize for not being able to advertise the title for everyone to see, but we could have our movie license revoked if we did.

    Thank you,
    Steve Hart
    PR & Marketing Coordinator
