Dozens of Titanic passengers cancelled their tickets at the last minute, and act that would save their lives. Several people said they had a bad feeling about being on the Titanic, and many felt that the sheer size of the ship and the claim that it was “unsinkable” were daring fate and would bring bad luck.
I am guessing that this is not what they were worried about.
