“Computer Tutor” is designed to be a drop-in session where people can ask computer questions and gain personalized attention. Trained staff will be able to help people with the following applications: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, internet, job searching, setting up email accounts, and how to use library databases and catalog.
The sessions run the first and second Thursday at the Fairmount Branch Library (3000 N. Fairmount Street) and the third and fourth Wednesday at the Eastern Avenue Branch Library (6000 Eastern Avenue). The first session at each location is at 7:00 p.m. and the following week is at 2:00 p.m.
Take time to check-out the first episode of KidTV. Each segment is kept seperate so that you have the opportunity to listen at your convenience. The total time allotment for the program is about 15 minutes.
The parking lots are cleared, sidewalks shoveled, and we are ready for you to join us at the library! Stop in for a hot drink and treat at Cam’s Coffee House and enjoy the warmth of a good book with your friends at the Davenport Public Library.
