COMMUNITY SHRED DAY AT THE FAIRMOUNT BRANCH LIBRARY!

COMMUNITY SHRED DAY AT THE FAIRMOUNT BRANCH LIBRARY!

Join the Fairmount Branch Library this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for “Shred Day.”  Bring all of your personal documents – papers, bills, and miscellanea – to the Library on April 17, and local company Document Destruction & Recycling Services will haul it away for free to be shredded, with full confidentiality. Participating in this event could save you from identity theft.  This program is offered in conjunction with Money Smart Week Quad Cities, and is a great way to kick off your spring cleaning efforts.

Money Smart Week (MSW) Quad Cities corresponds with state-wide efforts that will take place at the same time for MSW Iowa and MSW Illinois. More than 30 local organizations have been meeting on a monthly basis to plan, network and leverage resources for a weeklong package of activities and events. For a full listing of MSW activities taking place throughout the Quad Cities, visit www.moneysmartweek.org/quadcities.
