WIN A “wii” AT THE LIBRARY OLYMPIC GAMES!

The opening to the 2010 Olympic Games might be taking place in Canada later this week, but the 2010 Library Games have already begun right here in Davenport, IA.  That’s right, this year the Davenport Public Library’s Winter Reading Program features “ski for a wii!”  The cool thing is, you really don’t need to know how to ski!  All you need to know how to do is check-out and read or listen to books.  This year’s log gives you a chance to compete against yourself or two others as you ski down the mountain.  Once finished, return your log and pick up another.  You can compete as many times as you would like, but all entries MUST be returned on or before Saturday, March 13.  We will have the drawing at the beginning of Family Story Time on Tuesday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m.  You do not need to be present to win.  If you are, you are welcome to take the wii home with you at that time.  If you are not present, we will contact you the following day to make arrangements for pickup.
