WAGGIN’ TALES:

Story Time with the Animals of the Quad City Animal Welfare Center

Join the Davenport Public Library and the Quad City Animal Welfare Center (QCAWC) as we venture on a new partnership that is sure to make your little ones feel the warmth and happiness of an animal’s heart! This special event, called “Waggin’ Tales” will be on Tuesday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fairmount Street Library (3000 N. Fairmount Street), during the regularly scheduled “Family Story Time.” Come in your pajamas if you would like, bring a stuffed animal, and enjoy an hour of animal adventure with Stacey from the QCAWC and Tamra from the Davenport Public Library. You will have time to pet the animal if you are comfortable or you can just sit and listen to the stories while the animal lies next to the storyteller.

Registration is not required for this FREE event! For more information, call 326-7832 or visit online at www.davenportlibrary.com. For more information on the Quad City Animal Welfare Center call (309) 787-6830, or visit them online at www.qcawc.org. The Quad City Animal Welfare Center is a “No-Kill” shelter.
