It’s Official – Cam’s Coffee House is OPEN!

Cam’s Coffee House had their official Grand Opening and ribbon-cutting celebration today at 10:00 a.m. Many people came to the new shop, located at the Library’s Fairmount Street facility, to greet the Coffee House owners, Scott and Kathy Cameron. The D1 Diplomats helped with the ribbon-cutting celebration. Also in attendance were Library Director, LaWanda Roudebush; Mayor Pro Temp, Barney Barnhill; Library Board President, Mary Williams; FRIENDS Board President, Tom Brooke; Library Board Member, Karl Hickerson; and FRIENDS Board Member, Craig Cooper.

Cam’s Coffee House serves Seattle’s Best Coffee, as well as other specialty drinks like hot chocolate and smoothies. Additionally, you can pick up a warm, gooey cinnamon roll, fresh rice crispy treats, and hot-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies. Cam’s opens at 7 a.m., and keeps the Library’s closing hours.
