Flu and Pneumonia Shots Available at Fairmount!

Genesis VNA will be providing flu and pneumonia shots at the Fairmount Street Library on Friday, November 7, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. They will be back on Monday, November 24, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Flu shots will cost $37, and pneumonia shots for $40 (cash or check). There is no cost for those with Medicare Part B coverage.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, those at highest risk include: People 65 years and older; Individuals living in a nursing home or other chronic-care facility; Those afflicted with respiratory, heart disease or other chronic diseases, including children; Children and teens who are on long-term aspirin therapy; Pregnant women who will be in the second or third trimester during the flu season; Employees at medical facilities and other health-care workers.  Are you at high risk?
