Summer is almost over, you’ve read great books all season and you’re down to the bottom of your reading list – what now? It’s time to learn about new book suggestions from Paul Ingram, book buyer for Prairie Lights Book Store in Iowa City. Ingram will appear at the Bettendorf Public Library on Tuesday, August 12, for another great book-talking session. Book discussion group members, avid readers, and all other interested parties are invited to attend the socializing time at 6:30 PM, and the book-talks which will begin at 7:00 PM. This program is sponsored by Libraries Together, a partnership of the four public libraries in Scott County – Bettendorf Public Library, Davenport Public Library, LeClaire Community Library, and the Scott County Library System.
This presentation will be the third time Ingram has appeared at a Libraries Together event. Ingram has a very distinct, exciting book-talking style that brings enjoyment to all in attendance. This program also features free refreshments, and select books for sale. For more information contact Hedy at 563-344-4175.
