Public Meeting for Eastern Avenue Library Announced

We Need Your Ideas – Public Meeting for the Eastern Avenue Library

The Davenport Public Library is pleased to announce that it is moving forward with plans for the Eastern Avenue Library, located at 60^th Street and Eastern Avenue in the northeast section of the city. Joe Huberty, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, and a partner with Engberg Anderson, Inc., has been selected as the architect for the project, with Debra Sider, AIA, as Project Leader.

As the architects begin initial plans, they are seeking input from the community. What do you want your new library to look like? What would you like it to offer? Join us on Tuesday, August 5, at 6:00 PM in the Depot of the Grace Evangelical Free Church, located at 5520 Eastern Avenue, for a public meeting gathering your ideas! This meeting will analyze the Library and its site; discuss issues and goals; and review exterior designs.
