Bring your lunch and head to Davenport Public Library’s Fairmount Street location (3000 N. Fairmount Street) on Thursday, April 10, at 12:00 pm, to find out “Who Gets Grandma’s Yellow Pie Plate?” This fun, yet informative lecture focuses on tips to begin the process of talking among family members, issues involved with dividing personal property, and different distribution options and consequences. Attendees will also receive a worksheet that will help them organize their family’s treasures. Phyllis Zalenski, a Family Resource Management Specialist at the Iowa State University Extension will be on hand to present the program and answer questions. Registration is not required for this free event.
This program is part of “Money Smart Week (MSW) Quad Cities” which is happening throughout the area April 5-12, 2008.
