Independent Film – VALENTIN Wednesday 3/19

Independent Film – VALENTIN Wednesday 3/19

Tired of the same old movies?  Then come to Davenport Library’s “Off-Beat Independent Films!”  Hand-picked award-winning foreign and domestic independent movies will be shown every third Wednesday of the month at the Fairmount Street Library at 6pm.  Movie-goers will also get a chance to talk about the film after the showing. March’s off-beat independent film is Valentin.  Valentin is an enchanting view of the world as it revolves around one delightfully precocious 8-year-old boy!  With a set of absentee parents and a home life he considers a mess at best, he schemes to fix the problems in his own life.  Filled with wit, humor, and emotion.  Run time: 83 minutes.  Rated: PG-13. Valentin will be shown on Wednesday, March 19, at 6 pm. at the Fairmount Street Library (3000 N. Fairmount Street).  No registration is required for this free event.  Call 563-328-6833 or visit us online at www.davenportlibrary.com.
