Wagging Wednesday

Macaroni penguins are monogamous, which means the males and females stay together for life.  The Macaroni penguins will find each other every year and recognize each other by the calls they make.  What’s so special about these penguins?  They do a wild dance called the “ecstatic dance” in which they swing their heads wildly from side to side.  Groovy!

Join us on Wagging Wednesdays to learn about all kinds of creatures (even if they don’t have a cool tail like Libby).
