Baby Lit Bits

Have you noticed that songs and books and rhymes and conversation all have a slightly different rhythm?  Exposing your child to all of these will not  only help build vocabulary but will get them accustomed to listening to different rhythms in speech and literature later in life.  And if you run across a word that you know they don’t know – explain it.  Even if it seems silly to explain something like… oh, I don’t know… invisibility…or photosynthesis…  to a 2-year-old.  The amazing sponges that they are will soak it up and make sense of it later when they have all the pieces.

Baby Lit Bits are designed using the latest research to help adults find easy and manageable ways to help the babies in their lives get ready to read.
