Most spiders are not very social. This means they don’t like living with other spiders. That’s what scientists thought was true of all spiders until 1994. In 1994 an American zoologist working in Ecuador discovered that lynx spiders were VERY social. How did the zoologist learn that? By discovering a community of hundreds living together as a team.
Join us on Wagging Wednesdays to learn about all kinds of creatures (even if they don’t have a cool tail like Libby).
