Baby Lit Bits

So when does early literacy start?  Some experts will say before birth.  And maybe that’s so – but we’ll start with birth.  The first step in learning to read is learning language.  Hearing the words, the sounds, the rhythm of spoken language is one of the most important things you can do to start the reading process.  So go ahead – talk to your baby!!  In the grocery store, in the car, during bath time, at feeding time, at bed time, anytime — all the time!

Baby Lit Bits are designed using the latest research to help adults find easy and manageable ways to help the babies in their lives get ready to read.
