Thinker Thursday

John Hetrick was a little ahead of his time.  In 1952 he invented the first airbag for cars.  It wasn’t until 1973 when airbags were actually sold in cars.  Too many people were getting injured, and Hetrick’s safety device was finally something people wanted.
